Hi dude! m back again , but this time i`m gonna bring out a different side (other than movies in order )to be happy.. and things thats gonna help us in our future.
I`ve just finished reading a book, PERSUASION, a book to help us to persuade others to get our points-of-view, and at the same time understand others, which will lead to the benefit of both, and, yeah, more to ourself. This book is penned by James Borg. In our day-to-day lives, we always come across situations where we need to persuade the other person to get out point, and here he says that persuasion shouldnt mean negatives for both sides, but just moving a person(his attitude and thinking) from a point A to point B, which is our point-of-view. He quoted Aristotle as," Persuasion is the art of getting people to do something they wouldn`t ordinarily do if you didn`t ask".
In this , Borg enumerates seven main points necessary for an affective persuasion. they are:
1.Good listening skills.
2.How to hold attention.
3.Appreciation of body languages.
4.Memory skills.
5.Knowledge of the impact of words (psycholinguistics).
6.Skills with the telephone.
7.Negotiating skills.

Now, let me just brief you on these points. regarding listening, the first point, he wants us to listen more. and yeah, the beautiful point he makes is that there is a difference between Hearing and Listening as the former doesnt guarantee understandings pf words that enter our ears, while the latter means absorbing the words we hear and understanding what the speaker wants to mean.

In the next two points he says that we need to speak with proper eye contact and to hold the attention of the listener by keeping the interest high and not doing disturbing things and at the same time listen properly when its our turn.

Well, about memory and impact of words, it is really useful if we remember the names of the people we deal with , and things related to them as it pays in the long run to still sound familiar to them which in turn help us to get them our views, and using the right words at the right time is really important to make people really get what we wanna say to them.

The last two points, tells us to speak on the phone as if we are speaking to the person face to face. This help to give "non-verbal" meanings to our words adding weight to our points and the last point is really important as this is the point that finishes off things. Here we try some "give and take" such that the points we have introduced is agreed to both sides.

I may or may not have cited all the basic points but what i really wanna tell is that this book is really worth reading, and you should give a try if you wanna get ready for the future , which i know will involve lots of persuasions, both personal and official.

So guys go pick it up and hope you persuade lots of people for the benefit of this World at large...
See you!

I m here again my friends, well last time i wrote about that Korean movie "A Moment To Remember", and today i will try to tell you a bit about "Innocent Steps" (http://www.hancinema.net/korean_movie_Innocent_Steps.php).

This movie is directed by Park Yeong-hoon, and the lead roles are played by himself and Moon Geun-young (b. May 6, 1987). This is a really moving story about a little girl who comes from China to Korea to participate in a Salsa Dance contest by dancing with Park ,who is a well known Korean dancer, even though she didnt even knew how to dance properly. She was , as it usually happens made to leave, and Park then manages to find her again and taught her how to dance. Then, as a result of the intimate dancing a chemistry develops between them, but both sides hesitate to confess as they have an age gap and since they were having a student-teacher relation. When the time of the Salsa Contest came the Villain(Yoon Chan) steps in and takes away Park`s partner, Moon, after they injured his knee leaving him unable to dance. After they win the Contest, she decides to leave for China as she is no longer needed by Park and she didnt want to dance with the Villain. But somehow she comes for a last glance of Park and was about to leave, after seeing him ta the balcony(he didnt see her),when the Little Fireflies that she kept at his house as larvae, flew near her. actually Park had threw away the pot containing the larvae, saying that its useless as she believed that when they turned into Fireflies they will made her meet her Prince.

And so she comes back into the house and they both hug each other to pour out their hearts...
Well after watching this i too have begun believing what she believed.

So that's it, and i want to tell you more about the Korean, Chinese and even Arab movies that i saw in a recent film festival, held at Delhi, The Osian Film Festival. (http://www.cinemaya.net/).
Ok, buddies keep smiling.

My dear frens i`ve been talking to you about being happy. Well today i will gave you a short example which i came through a book i read recently. Here we learn that money or material things are not the essentials of being happy. OK so here it goes...

Once the great Henry Ford, founder of the Ford company, went to buy some flowers for his wife. There at the shop, he found that the florist was selling really good samples of flowers and he was really pleased when he saw that.
So he said to the florist,"Why dont you expand your shop?"
Florist was amazed and countered him,"What will happen then?"
Ford,"Then you can employ more people and expand your business."
Florist,"And what will happen?"
Ford,"Then you can earn a lots of profits."
Florist,"Then what?"
Ford,"Then you will be become happy"

To this the Florist replied,"That's what i m now."

Hearing this Ford went away silently, red-faced.

So, my dear frens its not necessary that we have every material things, especially money, to be happy. All we need is self-believe and being able to be satisfied with what God has given us.

Ok then, see you again.

well, this is the only second time i`m starting a blog of my own.

I`ve decided to write the ways people can live happily, just by giving an example of my own life, which if u look minutely is full of broken dreams n promises..., but still i m laughin n smilin most of the time... if u dont believe me u cant ask any of my fens who r mostly online ...
startin wid my own frens well, i always try to do things their way, n yet i also get things my own way.one thins i`ve noticed is that giving a smile to a fren , however sad u may be always help to lighten the situation.
just few days back, two of my best frens came to chandigarh to visit me, n i didnt hav a single penny to entertained them. well, i somehow managed to borrow some, but when they left me i saw that my worries about money was absolutely baseless n that they were pretty happy about the way i took them around giving all my time just to entertain them.
i shared wid them the stories of the past few months of my life, and it was a great thing. one fren just came to meet his belovwd who had already started negletin him, n i m sure he left wid some memories as i, fortunately, was able to help him meet her three times in the three days he stayed here.
thats just how we look things the bright way, she never contacted him again , bit we`ve not yet given up.

we always look things from the positive side, n we never give. Atleast thats how we keep our spirits up....TO REMAIN HAPPY
